Princess Cruises’ Star Princess became the largest cruise ship ever to call at Vancouver’s Canada Place terminal, surpassing previous record-holders Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Bliss. The 177,882-GT, LNG-powered vessel arrived and departed around low tide to safely clear the Lions Gate Bridge and can accommodate 4,300 passengers and more than 1,500 crew. The milestone comes during what is expected to be Vancouver’s busiest cruise season on record, with more than 1.4 million passengers projected in 2026.
