4 Oct – Lake Lugu

Chamber of Shipping > Blog > News > 4 Oct – Lake Lugu

The Lake Lugu, Eastern Pacific Shipping’s second LNG-powered pure car and truck carrier (PCTC), was seen making its way up the Fraser River on September 30th – the day before Canada’s new EV tariff came into effect for Chinese-manufactured electric vehicles..  Besides LNG dual-fuel capabilities with two 2,000-cbm LNG storage tanks, the vessels feature a shaft generator and shore and battery power.
