BHP has signed transportation agreements with both CN and CPKC to support exports from its Jansen Potash Mine in Saskatchewan. The agreements will see potash moved by unit trains to Westshore Terminals in Vancouver for shipment to international markets. By securing access to both national rail networks through the Jansen Access Spur, BHP aims to enhance supply chain reliability and flexibility as it prepares for first production from Jansen Stage 1. The arrangements establish key transportation links for one of Canada’s largest resource projects and reinforce Vancouver’s role as a major export gateway for Saskatchewan potash destined for global customers.
