The BC government has invited commercial vehicle drivers, owners and owner/operators in the industry to provide input on proposed changes to modernize safety regulations for commercial vehicles. The Province is proposing changes to Division 37 – Safety Code of the Motor Vehicle Act Regulations to improve road safety, and are seeking industry feedback to inform a decision on mandating the use of electronic logging devices, NSC Standard 13, and speed limiters for commercial vehicles already subject to hours of service. The commercial transport industry survey is open from April 15 to May 31, 2020, available at https://feedback.engage.gov.bc.ca/821877
