Officials from Canada, Finland, and the United States concluded a two-day meeting in Ottawa reaffirming their commitment to advancing the ICE Pact, a trilateral initiative aimed at enhancing Arctic presence and icebreaking capabilities. The meeting focused on progress across four key areas: technical knowledge exchange, workforce development, collaboration with allies and industry, and research and development. Each country presented findings from their respective Requests for Information to help guide future private sector engagement. Delegates also participated in a roundtable hosted by the Canadian Global Affairs Institute, which fostered discussion on industrial collaboration and stakeholder support.
