Fisheries and Oceans Canada has engaged Sedna ROV Services for a $6.5 million hydrographic survey project in the Arctic, as part of the Oceans Protection Plan. Utilizing the icebreaker Polar Prince, the initiative aims to enhance navigational safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development by mapping the Arctic seabed. This project also promotes Indigenous employment and training in marine studies, aligning with Canada’s commitment to reconciliation and northern economic development.
