CN Rail recently announced that it has received an arbitrated decision finalizing the terms of a new three-year collective agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC), representing approximately 6,000 conductors, conductor trainees, yard coordinators, and locomotive engineers across Canada. The agreement, effective from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026, includes annual wage increases of 3%. While CN expressed disappointment that a negotiated deal could not be reached, the company welcomed the certainty provided by the arbitration. It reiterated its commitment to modernizing the agreement in support of its workforce, customers, and the broader North American economy.
