Leo Stradiotti, Chairman of the Council of Marine Carriers (CMC), has announced that the Board of Directors has hired Paul Hilder as the next President of CMC.  Capt. Phill Nelson is retiring from his position as President of the CMC in July of this year. Paul will commence working for CMC in February and will work alongside Phill until July at which point he will assume the role of President.

Paul brings many years of maritime experience with him to the Council, having started as a deckhand on tugs and various other vessels in the mid 1980’s. He followed a focused career within the industry, both afloat and ashore, until his recent retirement from Seaspan ULC where he was the Vice-President of Marine Operations.
