Global Container Terminals (GCT) announced that GCT Deltaport has fully converted all diesel equipment to run on 100% renewable fuel, a milestone in its plan to cut emissions 45% by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050. The shift, enabled through collaboration with Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) and Parkland Corporation, delivers immediate carbon reductions while paving the way for hybrid and zero-emission technologies. Beyond its environmental benefits, the move highlights GCT’s long-standing partnership with TFN, reinforcing commitments to economic reconciliation, shared stewardship, and sustainable prosperity for the local community.
