Effective January 1, 2026, Harbour Quay Marina has been officially renamed Alberni Lighthouse Marina, reflecting its close association with the iconic lighthouse that has long served as a local landmark and navigational reference in Alberni Harbour. Located in downtown Port Alberni on Harbour Road beside Port Authority terminals, the marina offers 15 individual berths and over 2,000 lineal feet of side-tie moorage with full services, including water, power, secure access, washrooms, showers, laundry, and nearby fueling and sani-dump facilities. Owned by the Port Alberni Port Authority, the marina is a focal point for community life, hosting major events such as Port Day and the Alberni Valley Lions’ Children’s Bullhead Fishing Derby, and providing a popular vantage point for waterfront celebrations like the annual holiday Sail Past.
