The National Trade Corridors Fund has awarded $51.2 million for 19 digital infrastructure projects that will support the digitalization of Canada’s supply chain.  The NTCF funds projects that improve the flow of goods and people, increase trade, and help the transportation system withstand the effects of climate change and adoption of new technologies and innovation. In addition to the funds received by the BC Maritime Employers Association, other notable federal funds allocated include:
Vancouver Fraser Port Authority – Vancouver Gateway Optimization and Forecasting – $9.2M
Vancouver Airport Authority – Cargo Situational Awareness Tool – $7.2M
Canadian National Railway Company – Application Programming Interface Program – $6.2M
PSA Halifax – Container Terminals Digitalization Project -$3.7M
Port of Montreal – Port Community System Platform – $3.3M
WTC Group Inc – Digital Transloading Systems – $2.4M
Western Canadian Shippers’ Coalition – Western Canada Rail Visibility and Metrics – $2.2M
