Biography

Bonnie has served as the Vice President of the Chamber of Shipping since 2008. Her role is multi-faceted and involves membership engagement, communications and the day-to-day operations of the office and she brings 20+ years of experience in advocacy work for the local industry.  

She is currently industry co-chair for Canada Border Services Agency’s Border and Commercial Consultative Committee Marine Working Group and supports the Chamber of Shipping committees on most operational matters, policy development, and strategic issues.  She is currently a director of the International Sailors’ Society of Canada and a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – Pacific Chapter Executive Committee, and a past President of the Plimsoll Club.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia with a major in Transportation and Logistics.
