Clifford Faleiro has served on The Operations Team at Saga Welco AS in Vancouver BC for 26 years.
He is currently their Director of Operations responsible for vessel and cargo operations in Canada, USA and Mexico. He holds a Master’s Certificate of competency from Canada and India.
Clifford has sailed in several positions on cargo vessels for 15 years before immigrating to Vancouver in 1998 along with his family. He sailed for 4 years on vessels operated by Saga Forest Carriers Intl and then moved to Vancouver BC and was employed by Saga Welco in their Vancouver Office.
Clifford has represented Saga Welco in several organizations including the BC Maritime Employers Association and the Chamber of Shipping. He is also a board member with the Canadian National Seafarers Welfare Board. He brings along a great deal of experience in break bulk shipping where he has served most of his shipping career.
Clifford was born in Mumbai, India and lives in Vancouver BC. He loves sports and is an avid hockey and cricket fan. He is very involved with Charity events and mainly those connected with the Knights of Columbus of BC.
