Rishi joined the Chamber of Shipping in January of 2023 to assist in our Near-Time Arrival research project and was hired shortly thereafter as our Senior Analyst, Marine Operations.
Rishi holds a Master of Management degree in logistics and supply chain management from the University of Windsor, Ontario and a B.Sc in Maritime Business from Solent University. He has previously served as a navigating officer onboard Oil/Chemical Tankers and Vehicle Carriers with Wallem Group.
Rishi was promoted to Manager of Marine Operations in April 2024.
Rishi works on various legislative, regulatory, and policy-related issues that impact marine operations and/or the competitiveness of Canadian ports. Additionally, he provides technical expertise and support to members, working with government officials and groups to resolve issues as needed.
In his free time, Rishi has a keen interest in golf, hiking, badminton, and swimming.
