Holland America Group has notified the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority that due to expanding travel restrictions, extended port closures, and limited air travel, they have cancelled all 2020 Alaska gulf cruise and cruise tour programs as a result of COVID-19. The decision has resulted in the cancellation of eight vessels who were scheduled to homeport in Vancouver. The Minister of Transport’s Interim Order prohibits non-essential passenger vessels from calling a Canadian port until June 30, 2020.
