The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has revised the Ship Sanitation Inspection Fees for cruise vessels for the year 2024-25 to reflect to the Consumer Price Index for April 2023 at 4.4%. The updated fees will come into effect on April 1, 2024. The revised fee is as follows:

Ship Sanitation Certificate for Standard Ports – $900.17
Ship Sanitation Certificate for Non-Standard Ports – $900.17 + overtime and travel
Ship Sanitation Certificate for Standard Ports (Short-notice) – $1,124.32
Ship Sanitation Certificate for Non-Standard Ports (Short-notice) – $1,124.32 + overtime and travel
Extension of existing Ship Sanitation Certificate – $184.25
