Transport Canada has released a discussion paper on the legislative review of the Canadian Navigable Waters Act that came into force in 2019. Transport Canada is seeking feedback from key stakeholders on all aspects of the Act which regulates things that could interfere with navigation, such as human-made obstructions, and prohibited activities.
