The Government of Canada, through the National Trade Corridors Fund (NTCF), is investing over $10 million in two critical infrastructure projects to enhance the transportation network and support economic growth. A total of up to $7.3 million is allocated for the rehabilitation of the Saint John Harbour Bridge in New Brunswick, with an additional $7.7 million from the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, totaling nearly $15 million. Furthermore, up to $2.8 million will expand the Canada Border Services Agency’s inspection space at the Port of Saint John, with the Saint John Port Authority matching the contribution for a total of $5.6 million. These investments aim to improve supply chain efficiency, address transportation bottlenecks, and facilitate the expansion of Canadian businesses into global markets.
