Shares of US LNG companies rose after the European Union agreed to purchase $750 billion worth of American energy as part of a broader trade deal. Cheniere and Venture Global saw modest gains, while New Fortress Energy and NextDecade also rose. The EU aims to reduce its reliance on Russian gas by sourcing more LNG, oil, and nuclear fuels from the US. The agreement includes 15% tariffs on EU exports to the US and an additional $600 billion in EU investment in the US.
