During the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) townhall on Active Vessel Traffic Management, it was advised that the mandatory requirement for its new 96-hour Pre-Arrival Information Report/ Notice of Arrival form will take effect on October 23, 2023.  An official notice from the VFPA is expected. The form contains info requests pertaining to general vessel details, movement details, pre-transit requirements, vessel service requests, cargo details, contact details, and agent notes. The mandatory form will need to be submitted by agents via the Pacific Gateway Portal 96 hours prior to the vessel’s ETA to the Port of Vancouver.
