Construction at the Woodfibre LNG site is progressing steadily, with foundational work underway for LNG processing equipment and modules expected to arrive in 2025. Current activity includes backfilling, grading, concrete pouring, and rock anchor installation. The Marine Offloading Facility is now complete and MARSEC Level 1 approved, ready to receive modules later this year. Environmental protection remains a key focus, with bird monitoring, amphibian relocation, and erosion control in place. Non-local workers are housed on a floatel with transportation from the Lower Mainland. Night work is ongoing under a local noise exemption, and future monitoring of air and light impacts is planned for 2025.
