The world’s largest LNG bunker vessel, to be named the Gas Agility, has completed its first successful sea trials. The vessel will be operated by French energy company Total and owned by Japanese shipping company MOL. The vessel is due to be delivered in the second quarter of this year and will operate in Northern Europe where it will supply LNG to commercial ships. The ship is fitted with innovative tank technologies and meets the highest environmental standards thanks to the use of LNG as fuel and complete reliquefaction of boil-off gas.
