Earlier this week, Seaspan’s Vancouver Drydock celebrated the grand opening of its new 21,000 square foot Operations Centre, marking a key milestone in the company’s ongoing infrastructure investment. The modern two-storey facility will centralize operations, safety, and administrative personnel, enhancing efficiency and coordination across the site. Designed to support over 300 trades staff working in two shifts, the new space features upgraded offices, lunchrooms, and locker rooms, along with significant civil and electrical improvements. This development follows the recent addition of a third floating drydock and will enable Seaspan to expand its ship repair and maintenance capabilities, adding approximately 100 new jobs in North Vancouver.
